In endless mode, there are no time constraints or structures instead, players must memorize the layout of Baldi's school in order to win. However, that is easier than it sounds, and players will need to learn all of Baldi's tricks to win in this mode. The goal of story mode is to collect seven notebooks and escape Baldi's school. There are two modes to Baldi's Basics story and endless. Players need to carefully analyze the game and understand how to win it before they are caught by Baldi. This game was inspired by bad 90s edutainment games and tries to trick its players by implementing psychological gameplay. Baldi's Basics is an educational edutainment game that seems innocent on the outside, but is actually a meta horror game with no educational value on the inside.
